Hi guys,

Manannan will be doing their swim test this Friday night. Meeting will still be from 0730 until 0900. This is compulsory for all scouts. If, for some reason, a scout is unable to do the swim test this week we will arrange a date for them. The guys need to have full uniform for the meeting. For the swim they will need a tshirt, togs and boating shoes. They do not need buoyancy aids for the swim test.

Hi guys,

Hope everyone enjoyed Easter Camp. We are attending Splashdown on the May bank holiday weekend (Friday May 2- Monday May 5) in Lough Dan. Splashdown is a water based camp and there will be plenty of activities organised over the weekend. WL’s should have already contacted the scouts and anyone who is interested in attending should let them know. We shall confirm the price this Friday. It is also important to note that this Friday we will be having the swim test which is compulsory for all scouts. Any queries feel free to contact myself or Feargus.

Hi all,

We will be meeting in the den on Friday at 10 am with the aim of leaving between 1030 and 11 for Powerscourt. All scouts must be in full uniform at the den (hiking boots instead of shoes). Anyone who has yet to pay the €5 deposit may do so on Friday morning, PLs will notify the scouts how much they owe for food. Collection from camp will be at 12 on the Monday. All gear listed below is a must have, unless stated otherwise.

Hey,

Manannan will be hostelling from this Friday, March 21 until Sunday, March 23 in Glendalough Hostel. We will meet in the den on Friday at 1800 and pickup in Glendalough hostel on Sunday is at 1200 (lifts are being arranged by each Watch Leader). Hey Guys,

Hostelling is this weekend from Friday 8th November until Sunday 10th in Lough Dan. We will be meeting at the den at 6 on Friday evening. Pick up will be on Sunday at around 2:30. This year the guys will be trying out a commando course on the sunday morning so please ensure they have appropriate gear for that.
