Hi all,

Here is a gear list for hostelling. Once again I must emphasize that the scouts will be required to carry all their gear on the hike, so please pack only what is necessary and keep all in one bag.

Gear list:

Manannan hoodie and neckerchief

Hiking boots

Rain gear (top and bottoms)

Adequate rucksack to carry all gear

Sleeping bag

Water bottle (1l)

Warm clothing (hat, gloves, scarf, fleece)

Adequate clothing for 2 night stay (trouser, boxers, socks, tshirt, jumper)

High vis jacket

Towel

Tea towel

Wash gear

Torch

No MOBILE PHONES (they will be confiscated)

The total cost of the trip is €45 (including €10 deposit) which we will collect on Friday November 13th. Scouts are to meet at the den at 6.30pm on the Friday, to head off to Knockree as soon as ready. Pickup will be at 12 in Loch Dan.
