Meetings now 1900-2130

As we are now at the beginning of the boating season, from Friday 18 May Manannán meetings will be extended to run from 1900-2130. Luí isteach will be at 1900, so Scouts should be in the Den for 1850 to ensure they are on time and in full uniform for luí isteach.

Boating gear

All Scouts will now need boating gear in addition to full uniform on Friday nights. This includes: life jacket, swimming shorts, old t-shirt/base layer, boating shoes/old runners/booties, rainjacket/cag.

Dualgas

Every week the Faire Dualgais (Duty Watch) must come down early to bail the boats, and will also be required to stay behind an extra 10 minutes to clean up after the meeting. Each Watch takes it in turns as Faire Dualgais, and Watch Leaders will inform their Watches when they are on Dualgas for the week.
