Fodhla crew enjoyed a great Day Sail on New Moon heading north around Lambay Island before anchoring off Ireland’s Eye for lunch.. The girls then landed on Ireland’s Eye where they climbed up to the highest point, spotting many young downy seagull chicks en route. Skipper Brain Welsh explained the various types of cardinal and can buoys, pointed out many types of seabirds and gave everyone time on the helm. The girls also saw seals and two porpoises playing in front of the boat as they returned around Howth Head.
