Míle buíochas to the Parents Committee for organising, and to the DMYC for hosting, the fantastic Summer Evening Sail and BBQ on Fri 5th June. Enthusiastic parents boarded the flotilla of boats for a really wonderful sail down towards Dalkey Island in warm summer sunshine and decent wind. Plenty of conversation and good questions were the order of the evening, as parents and leaders got to know eachother before heading back to the DMYC passing the Manannán gasóga out rowing the skiff and sailing four of the Picos. Greeted by the delicious smells of BBQ steak and chicken, the parents disembarked to continue their chat with a plate of delicious food in the warmth and hospitality of the welcoming DMYC bar. A superb evening enjoyed by all!
